Two Sales Pitch Scenes From
Boiler Room

Moral: Have a good pitch with features and benefits ready. Everyone says "No" at first
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbIRedOqDwE
Moral: Your ability to handle objections is twice as important as your initial pitch. Also, never underestimate the element of surpirse (keeps the prospect off-balance and takes back the initiative), and you need to have balls to make it work - and before you think that's harsh, remember, you're trying to get your prospects to do something that is in their best interests. You're not selling cars, or pitching a dog-shit stock (like these guys) - you're trying to protect their financial future. Everyone needs to be persuaded to do something, even if it is in their best interest, so, go ahead and seize the initiative. They'll thank you for it later.

Brilliant expample of how to sell through emotion and a bit of mis-direction. The product is "The Wheel" slide projector from Kodak, but that's not how Don Draper (played by Jon Hamm) sells it.
